SuPAR 2025.1 User Manual
SuPAR™ is a mobile visual inspection tool with augmented reality. A CAD model is prepared on a PC, transferred to an iPad and superimposed onto the real part as a “ghost model” so that operators can inspect, measure and document deviations directly on the product.
The SuPAR Suite
| Component | Runs on | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| SuPAR Composer | Windows PC | Import CAD data, prepare AR tracking edges, create stages and inspection checklists, export .spproject files and reports. |
| SuPAR App | iPad | Track the real object, run the inspection, take notes, photos and measurements, generate the digital report. |
| SuPAR Web Viewer | Browser | View projects and reports online at web.supar.eu . |
This manual is divided into two parts:
- SuPAR Composer — preparing projects on the PC
- SuPAR App — running inspections on the iPad

Recommendations
SuPAR does not recommend tracking parts with very few tracking edges or transparent materials, such as cylindrical parts and mirror glass.
- If the CAD data is very different from the actual part, tracking will not work properly.
- Prefer Empty Project over Batch Project when you need checklists or reference views (see Batch Project).
