SuPAR ComposerBatch Project

Batch Project

Batch Project converts several CAD files into .spproject files in one go. Find your CAD data on the PC and click IMPORT. Multiple files can be selected at once with Ctrl + Left Click.

  • Advantage: faster preparation.
  • Disadvantage: the projects will not have checklists or reference views, and the edges are created with default settings (Max Edge Count: 2000, View Count: 10).
  • Its main purpose is bulk project creation.
💡

Recommendation: use Empty Project whenever you need checklists, reference views or custom edge extraction.

Additional options

  • Extrude Offset or not — see Extrude Offset.
  • Import 2D Curves or not (PMI information).
  • Tessellation Level: adjusts the triangle (polygon) count. The default is High; change it to Low if you get a High Polygon Count warning. It does not affect tracking. Recommended: Medium.

Conversion and export

The model starts converting into an AR tracking model. This takes between 30 seconds and 5 minutes depending on the CAD data and the computer specifications. After conversion, the .spproject files can be exported by clicking Export and selecting the target folder.
