Measurement

Measurement takes a rough distance either between two points on the CAD model or between the CAD model and the real environment (World).

Point-to-point distance

Calculates the distance between two selected points on the CAD model.

• Freeze Camera: As soon as you tap the screen, the image freezes so that points can be selected more easily. Recommended.
• Snap to Edge: While selecting a point, it automatically aligns with nearby edges for precise and accurate alignments.
• Snap to Vertex: While selecting a point, it automatically snaps to the vertices of the meshes.
• Eraser: Remove measurements.

Model-to-world distance

Shows the distance between the CAD model and the real object. The first point can be selected either on the CAD model or on the real part (World); the deviation between the two selected points is displayed in millimetres.

When selecting on the World, two taps are required:

1. The first tap casts a ray onto the desired part.
2. The second tap defines the exact point along that ray.
